Ercan Orun

I live in Glasgow city centre. My partner lives in North Ayrshire, and is able to drive me to most locations, so I have good access to a fair area of Scotland. I would consider locations further afield. I was born in Turkey, but I've lived in Glasgow over 30 years. I am a UK citizen, have a British passport and always keep my Disclosure Scotland up to date. I've had a variety of jobs, hospital porter, restaurant worker, resort photographer, tourist boat hand. I served my National Service in the Turkish Army. I enjoy watching many sports and in my youth, played football for my city club, and was a track and field International Athletics Champion in Turkey. I am a very strong swimmer, enjoy cycling and love dancing and socialising. EXPERIENCE Im an experienced Supporting Artist inthe film and tv industry for over 10 years, Being self employed I have great availablity even at short notice. Over the years I've had regular work on River City, along with well known productions such as Outlander, Shetland, Karen Pirie and Good Omens to name a few. I've been a featured Artist,had film creditation and did voice over work. I'm always reliable,a good timekeeper, a quick learner andtake direction well. I'm always willing to take on even the most difficult challenges. I have a confident personality, am both upbeat and friendly, and can adapt easily to any situation and environment. My long natural wavy black hair makes me suitable for both period and contemporary roles.
